Medical Assistant

Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting medical staff by ensuring the smooth flow of patient care. This position involves a combination of clinical and administrative duties, including prepping patient charts, handling lab orders, assisting with preoperative appointments, and managing medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments
  • Create appointment notes and enter lab and chest X-ray orders
  • Review patient charts for correct referrals and accuracy
  • Prepare lab orders in the PathGroup system with correct patient information
  • Print lab stickers, requisition forms, and ABN forms
  • Assist with preoperative appointments: vital signs, height/weight, surgical review
  • Manage and track medical supplies inventory
  • Coordinate with specialty clinics and ensure accurate documentation

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
  • Experience in a clinical or surgical setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with EHR systems

Director of Clinical Relations

Position Summary:
The Director of Clinical Relations is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with surgeons, surgery centers, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. This leadership role drives referral growth, ensures service excellence, and serves as the primary liaison between PrePost+ and its clinical partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgical practices and healthcare systems
  • Lead strategic outreach to identify and onboard new referring providers
  • Serve as the primary clinical partner liaison for ongoing communication
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth referral workflows
  • Support TEAM model adoption and education among partner organizations
  • Track and report on partnership metrics and referral trends

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare relationship management or business development
  • Strong knowledge of perioperative or surgical care environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with value-based care models a plus

Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary:
The PA/NP will serve as a key clinical provider in the PrePost+ care model, conducting pre-operative assessments, developing pain plans, coordinating post-operative follow-up, and collaborating with surgeons and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative medical evaluations and clearances
  • Develop personalized pain management and opioid tapering plans
  • Perform cognitive and mental health screenings as part of the PreOp™ protocol
  • Manage post-operative follow-up via telehealth and in-person visits
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and ancillary providers
  • Document findings accurately in the EHR system for TEAM reporting

Qualifications:

  • Current PA-C or APRN license in Tennessee
  • Experience in surgical, perioperative, or primary care settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Interest in value-based care and surgical outcomes
